On 22 November 2022, Ufa hosted the 27th annual Laptev Scientific and Practical Conference "Modernization of the Russian Geophysical Industry", held under the auspices of EAGO and the Laptev Association for the Development of Well Logging and the Oil and Gas Industry. The conference focused on two topics:
The oilfield services market in the new economic reality;
New competitive geophysical equipment and logging technologies.
Leading Russian companies presented their new developments in logging-while-drilling, wireline and memory tools for open-hole and cased-hole surveys, reservoir monitoring and well integrity. Particular attention was paid to the digital transformation of the geophysical industry.
The business programme gave participants, ahead of 2023 procurement, complete information on new equipment, technologies and services offered by Russia's leading service, manufacturing and research companies.
For the first time, the winner of the first Laptev Medal "For Contribution to the Development of Well Logging" was awarded.
