At the 32nd Laptev Scientific and Practical Conference "New Equipment and Technologies for Hard-to-Recover Hydrocarbon Reserves", RPC Elicom gave participants a special gift — a performance of the play "Runway", dedicated to the geophysics profession and the people who have devoted their lives to it.
The play tells the stories of geophysicists, showing how working conditions and the lives of the characters changed over time. Through their stories the audience could see the romance of expeditions, the hardships of field work, the strength of professional friendship and dedication to one's work.
The performance struck a chord with the conference participants, some of whom recognized themselves, their colleagues and mentors in the characters. It was a reminder of the rich history of Russian geophysics, its traditions and its people.
