GIK Logging Laboratory
Geophysical information system for logging data recording — in a rack or a portable case.
Purpose — supplies connected downhole equipment with direct and alternating current, records incoming data and displays it in real time, and stores the logging results.
Design — GIK is a 19-inch equipment rack (stationary version) or a case (portable version) with the following units:
- logging recorder;
- control computer (desktop or laptop);
- downhole equipment power supplies;
- RIH/POOH depth and speed control panel;
- thermal plotter;
- uninterruptible power supply.
