YASON Depth Control System
Measures depth and speed and records magnetic marks on the logging cable.
Purpose — monitoring and recording RIH/POOH parameters from wellhead sensors: depth, speed, magnetic marks and cable tension.
Description — the system includes a control panel in various versions and a communication cable. It can be supplied with its own depth sensor and magnetic mark sensor or work with third-party sensors.
The depth sensor is mounted on the gear of the measuring wheel driven by the logging cable and sends electrical pulses to the control panel as the wheel rotates. The magnetic mark sensor measures the field strength of depth marks on the logging cable and outputs an analog signal proportional to it.
The stationary version has an integrated unregulated 50 Hz AC power supply for downhole equipment with max. output of 300 V, 700 mA.
